How often should I get massage?
Every body is different and so how frequently you need massage will be based on each individual body. Typically, once a month is best. Ask your therapist after your session to know what will work best for you personally.
How do I know if the pressure is to much?
It depends on what your goal for the massage is. Relaxation massage is typically going to be lighter pressure with long flowing strokes to help you feel at ease. Rehabilitative massage is more detailed work; if at anytime the pressure is causing you to tense, having a hard time breathing, or above a 6 on a pain scale of 1-10. Tell your therapist to back off. Your massage should never be painful. With Rehabilitative massage it is common to think that it is supposed to hurt, but it needs to feel good too.
How much do I need to undress?
How much you disrobe is completely your choice. The therapist will work through the sheet with whatever clothing you decide to leave on. It is common for women to take off their bras so that the therapist can work the shoulders and neck a little bit easier. But in the end it is completely your decision.
